Preparation

  • Lie on your back on an inclined bench
  • Grasp the bar with an overhand grip wider than shoulder width
  • Dismount the bar from the rack

  • Smoothly lower the bar until it almost touches the upper chest

  • Smoothly, without jerking, press the bar upwards until elbows are straight
