Dumbbell Bent Over Row

Description

Preparation

  • Place one knee on a flat bench. Bend over and lean on the arm of same side
  • Grasp a dumbbell with opposite arm, with palm facing towards torso
  • The dumbbell should hang directly below shoulder
  • The waist should not be twisted

Action

  • Keeping elbow close to side, pull the dumbbell up to waist height
  • The upper arm should be just past horizontal
  • Do not move the shoulder height
  • Do not allow torso to twist

Return

  • Lower the dumbbell until the arm is extended
